Friends of the Fridge: Love and Lager.

The luckiest 2,000 square feet in Austin.

Dearest Fridge Raiders,

With dry January behind us and Valentine's Day ahead, we have a little something for you: a lovingly curated newsletter with an intoxicating event lineup. We are ready to take this relationship to the next level.

In this issue: Pinthouse Founding and Tasting, Lunch Redux, AI & Wine, the Monthly Magnate, and even a membership offer.

Wait, what’s this? This is the once-a-month newsletter from Austin’s luckiest entrepreneur club, the Red Fridge Society. You can always unsubscribe here.

Top of the Fridge

  • Let’s do lunch. Our first Fridgeside Lunch was an oversold hit. This month, we’re breaking bread over a discussion on the State of VC and Growth Equity led by a few of our esteemed Fridge Magnates.

  • Get off that fence. Want to try out the Society? We’re offering a rare discount. Enjoy membership through June but only pay for three months. The best time to apply was last week, but the second best is today!

  • Double the caffeine: Our intimate founder coffee tastings—where we use the same beans in six different preparations—are some of my favorite events. So much so that we’re doing them twice a month now.

Our coffee tastings are intimate, buzzy, and amusing.

  • You need to get out more. Our February event schedule is here to get you off the couch. Multiple coffee tastings, Pinthouse Founder Story (and beer tasting!), Epic Poker Tournament, a State of VC Lunch, and even a Wine and AI Happy Hour. More details and RSVPs are below.

  • Completely full (but you’re special). Most of our events these days sell out. I always hold a spot back for a founder who’s new to the Fridge. Sound like you? Join the event waitlist and add a note.

  • Brandy hangover. Ends up buying 16 bottles of Brandy for our January tasting was ambiutous. Want an informal masterclass in Brandy— including $300 bottles of Cognac and Armagnac? Stop by some afternoon.

Help us drink some Brandy, and I’ll let you pet my velvet jacket.

The Monthly Magnate

What types of founders are members of the Society? Behold! Our freshest newsletter feature: The Monthly Magnate.

The February Magnate is Geoff Woods.

Magnate Woods is the #1 bestselling author of The AI-Driven Leader, host of the AI-Driven Leader podcast, and Founder of AI Leadership and The AI-Driven Leadership Collective. As the former Chief Growth Officer of Jindal Steel & Power, Geoff's strategic leadership helped the company grow its market cap from $750 million to over $12 billion in just four years. Prior to that, he co-founded the training and consulting company behind The ONE Thing, advising businesses with annual revenue ranging from $10 million to $60 billion.

Magnate Woods. Up close and personal.

Fun Fridge Factoids:

  • Geoff wrote much of The AI-Driven Leader on the Red Fridge Society couch

  • We have a huge stack of signed books available for our beloved Fridge Raiders

  • Magnate Woods is hosting an AI event this month that includes a fancy wine tasting—you’ll have to come to figure out how he ties those together

What’s Fresh in the Fridge?

Our calendar for the next few months is mostly set, and it’s all of our favorite things. You can see our entire calendar here, but here are some featured events. Note that “Founder Only” events are limited to founders past or present and start on a waitlist.

Ready to Take Our Relationship to the Next Level?

  • Magnate Curious? Have you been on the fence but want to try out the Society? We’re offering a rare discount: enjoy membership through June but only pay for three months.

  • Although the full bar, meeting rooms, and coworking are all great reasons to join, the community is the primary value driver of the Red Fridge Society. Our brand promise is that you’ll have a conversation at the Fridge in the first 6 months that pays for the first 2 years.

  • Memberships start at $850/month. You can apply here.

  • Want to come check out the Fridge but can’t make an event? You can grab an hour on Chris’ calendar to get a tour.

January Leftovers

Starting off Strong. We sprinted into 2025. In addition to our usual private member events, we doubled our coffee tastings, debated the morality of AI, lunched and real estated, started with Virtual Assistants, got Boozyless for dry January, and snobby with a Brandy Tasting.

Keep being chill, and I hope to see you Fridge-side soon.
