Community Events

We have a packed social schedule for the rest of the summer. Here are some events that are open to Fridge Raiders.

• Tuesday July 23rd 4:30-7:30: Raid the Fridge-Caribbean Chill. Our midsummer community happy hour is Caribbean themed and will feature a crazy rum tasting and island inspired snacks. More the merrier on this one, but please RSVP here.

• Wednesday July 31st 5:00-7:00: Biohacking Happy Hour Encore. We’re hosting the owners of the Austin location of Dave Asprey’s Upgrade Labs with a few of their more portable biohacking machines. Sign up here to grab a spot.

• Thursday July 11th 9:30am. Coffee Tasting: Arabica vs Robusta. We’re mixing it up this time and will do a side by side of Arabica vs Robusta beans. Very limited seating as members get first crack, but you can RSVP for a few open spots and join the waitlist here.

• August 29th at 6pm —Inaugural Red Fridge POKER Society Tournament. Our $200 buy-in Founder/Investor poker tourney is scheduled. Sign up for the waitlist here. We’ll open up spots the first week of August after our members have a chance to grab their seats.

What's Chilling in the Fridge?

• In the last month, in addition to our usual happy hours and coffee tastings, we broke in our new poker chips with a member game and hosted a fly tying class.

  

  Pocket Aces vs Pocket Kings went down as you’d expect.

  

  Fly tying 101, Beer drinking master class

• We’re filling out our Library with collections in entrepreneurship, health and wellness, and a touch of science fiction.

• We still have a little bit of Hi-sign Brewing’s limited edition Strawberry Fields Lager on tap to cool things down for the summer. Made with 200lbs of fresh strawberries!

• Our barrel aged cocktail-the Mojo Rojo- has been aging for 6 weeks and is at peak deliciousness.

• Next time you’re at the society, capture the moment with the Fridgecam photobooth or try our new-ish Karaoke Setup.
